The digitalization of the “London writings” by Luigi Sturzo

The Institute has begun the digitalization of 468 documents concerning the period (1924-1940) of the exile in London of Luigi Sturzo.

A very rich public production – almost daily – that allows you to retrace the journalistic career of Sturzo in the 16 years of the British exile. A collection of articles that reveal precious indications on the relationships maintained, on the reference environment, on the personal, daily and material factors of the intense activity of journalist and writer of the Sicilian priest.

There is no event of the European tragedy of the thirties and forties in which Sturzo did not make his voice heard through the many collaborations with the press of those years.
