July 3th  at 11.3o the Press Conference will be held for the presentation of the event “Appello ai Liberi e Forti” by Luigi Sturzo, a theatrical performance that will be staged on 5 July at the 62nd Edition of the Festival dei 2 Mondi in Spoleto. The initiative represents a further occasion to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Italian Popular Party [Ppi] founded, on the evening of 18 January 1919 at the Santa Chiara Hotel in Rome, through the dissemination of the Appeal “To all free men forts ”and the attached 12-point program.

The commemoration of the event as well as staging the Appeal of Sturzo also through the furnishings and personal effects of the Sicilian priest, will promote, afterwards, a meeting-debate on its relevance.
