European and international politics in the papers of the Giulio Andreotti Archive

There are over 200 folders of the “Europe” and “European Countries” series in the Giulio Andreotti Archive ready to be rearranged and inventoried thanks to the agreement stipulated by the Luigi Sturzo Institute with the ICAR – Central Institute for Archives.

A new and important archival intervention on a substantial group of papers that will allow us to reconstruct the orientations and choices of foreign policy carried out by our country and amply documented by the testimonies connected to the numerous positions held by Giulio Andreotti during his long political career.

Giulio Andreotti Archive continues to be an inexhaustible source for understanding the political history of Italy since the war; the launch of this further project will offer new food for thought on the most relevant foreign policy issues.
