Activity

The Library perform the following institutional activities

• collect and preserve the Italian publishing production at national and local level concerning the social and political history of the twentieth century, with particular attention to the production of and on Luigi Sturzo;
• conserve, increase and enhance historical collections;
• acquire foreign publishing production on the basis of the specific nature of the collections and taking into account the needs of users;
  document the possessed, provide bibliographic information and ensure the circulation of documents;
• carry out the aforementioned tasks in cooperation with other libraries and institutes, in order to implement an integrated library service;
  to promote initiatives aimed at increasing reading and knowledge of the Library’s heritage.

Finally, the Library, in the context of the enhancement and dissemination of its patrimony, suggests a series of bibliographic paths related to various significant issues of its possession.
