Manifesto “The cultures of the Republic for Europe”

On March 7th, 2019, at the Luigi Sturzo Institute, there were discussions of decisive and interconnected issues such as the de-legitimization of the ruling classes; the nationalist responses to globalization; the impasse of representative democracy; the suffering of European integration and its popular consensus. Starting from the desire to understand the crisis of politics in Europe and in Italy in a wide-ranging key, in the belief that nationalist and “sovereig”tendencies do not represent a solution, but an even worse problem, the meeting had the objective to stimulate a reaction to resignation towards the affirmation of the forces and ideas that feed these tendencies.
