Project “Citizens of the world. The cinema tells about globalization”
The Institute carries out a cycle of showing dedicated to crucial themes and moments of the globalization process to recount the social, political and cultural transformations that marked the second half of the XX century with the aim of promoting, in the younger generations, a conscious understanding of the roots of the perspectives and contradictions of the current globalized world.
The project is divided into four meetings and a final event. Each meeting will see the introduction by an expert, who will provide a framework for the historical, social and cinematographic language as a vehicle for knowledge, and a conclusive space open to discussion and discussion.
The project is carried out in collaboration with the Iconographic Historical Research and Documentation Laboratory of the Roma Tre University and with United Nation Regional Information, with the contribution of the General Directorate for Cinema – MIBAC.
